Hello, I own a small independent bookstore in my hometown of Chardon, Ohio (109 Main Street). Coming back after 11 years gone, it was a little like that TV show “Ed” but I prefer books to bowling balls. Anyway, this was a great way to parlay a lifetime love of books (and Kurt Vonnegut, rip, thanks for the title) and the desire to control my own destiny. My shop is a full service store with a bit more – a great section called The Back Realm full of metaphysical books (Astrology, Wicca, New Age) etc, leavened with generous doses of sci fi, poetry, simple living/survival and homeopathy. The front of the house includes new bestsellers and used books of all kinds (fiction, self-help, history, politics/social science, art, cooking, gardening, crafts, performing arts, children’s and more). I also specialize in antiquarian, first edition signed and other collectible books. I also write and record podcasts for the Canadian progressive site www.rabble.ca, so check them out too.

Thanks for finding the book I gave my daughter for Christmas. It was an out of print obscure novel that I had read literally 30 years ago, and had not seen since. You found it to be available through your sources in about 42 seconds, and had it for me within 2 days! RCM
